It IS shooting themselves in the foot! (Or it was, like last year, when it happened), and that's not all! They recently (4-5 months ago?) dropped a big marketing contract with Warner Bros. because they weren't happy with the straight-up CN merchandise (most of the merchandise that you see for my show is done not by CN or WB, but by people who paid to use our liscensed characters).
