It's time for yet another Last-Minute, Get-Val-Outta-The-States Sale!

It has been a while, hasn't it. I'll be booking a flight in a couple of hours, but I need the extra $200 to cover taxes. Its insane that taxes is nearly as much as the flight.. I suppose that because its so last minute.

In any case; this means EMERGENCY Art-Sale. I can do twenty $10 sketches... or something of that variety.

Color would be minimal. Traditional media only (meaning pencils, pens and whatever copics I can fit into the overhead) since I can do those on the road and when I get back for MangaNEXT.

If anyone is crazed enough to still want chibi's, I can work that but it'd have to wait till next month when I'm near my computer.

Yep, I'll totally need reference to can access it later while traveling. I think your suggestions are non-specific enough to be non-threatening (and seeing as how I'm not a fan of Lovey-Dovey, I reckon I can swing it). Color will be minimal just so's you know, since I only have sepia tones and various grays.

Oh wow, Irony is loving kicking me in the head right now. We'd just miss each other. I'd be in the UK while you'd be in the states... That is SOO tragic! unfair on all counts! And we could have been drinking buddies.... :C

Will still happily and proud work on the commission though. Do you want her in full color then... because if it were just a sketch, like last time than $10 is more than fine.... what do you reckon?

Came here through via ali_wildgoose. I see you have some Harry Potter art in your DeviantArt gallery. If I provide a reference image of a character from my fanfics, could you do a sketch of her in Hogwarts uniform, with robe and wand? If you can do color, she'd be a Hufflepuff.

My fanfics are based on Disney's "Gargoyles" animated series, but the character in question likes to cosplay. :)

Was supposed to be on a plane tomorrow. Because it's a holiday in the States (fucking useless one at that) I couldn't book it, so it looks to be put off by a day or two... but I wasn't to come back till the 28th.

THAT is awesome! I haven't seen gargoyles in years, but I'm sure if it's your original character you already have a list of specific features, if not art tucked away somewhere I can use as reference. I know how detailed they can be.

Only... since I'm really only taking sketch commissions right now, if you wanted color it wouldn't be just $10... and It'd have to wait till I got back to my PC and lovely PhotoShop to make with the magic.

If you don't mind the price $10 price-jump and the wait, I'd be happy to slot you in.

I'm happy with just a sketch commission right now, and maybe I could come back to you later when you're back for something else in color. How do I go about sending you the references? The character I have in mind is a human, so the art I already have of her should be enough of a reference. Do I email them to the same address you have above for Paypal? Do you need me to attach the files, or can I just send links?

Eep! I have been slow, as it turned out that I have not used my PayPal account in at least two years.

I am very familiar with the series. Embarrassingly some might say.

Is there a particular sort of theme you want; just teammates, being all Ninja and bad-ass? or something romantic? or neither?

I'm going to make a judgment call and assume the time-jump 17-18 year old version are preferred over the 13-14.

A second figure would probably be another $10, depending on how specific you want to be, how you want them to interact, etc. It's up to you. :D

Also, I'm not disappointed your character isn't a gargoyle, I just think coloring based of a cartoon is different than coloring based off a manga spread. It's softer and gargoyles in particular is darker as well. I'm just looking forward to re-exploring that whole universe again ^^; that's what I mean to say.
