Now see, my days are pretty much filled with all of the magic, or at least weirdness, that I can handle.
Beauty, however, I can never get enough of. I need a storybook to put this in - bind it in leather and singe the edges with a candle and... yes. It's that kind of lovely.
It's amusing to me that after having had rhapsodies about your black-and-white art, I should now tumble just as hard for your coloring. Maybe not all that surprising, really - you color like you draw, full of small details and implications, in that way that I've found to be peculiar to those who draw line art, and I love it.
Seriously, what is it? Does already being familiar with the important outlines make it easier to see where the shading should be? Is it a kind of topographical map in your head? Of course, that wouldn't explain your apparently innate ability to use contrast to its best, and therefore least obvious, effect. Argh.
All of which in combination goes to creating that frustrated kind of happiness that I'm rapidly beginning to associate with your art, a mix of visceral 'god, so lovely' and intellectual 'parts, whole, what - how?'.

It's confusing, but addictive. *grins*
