Mew? =^_^= To be fair, I can count the number of coloured pieces I've ever completed on one hand. It's a newer endeavour and I'm not terribly good at it (which is why it takes me days and days and days to finish up even the tiniest doodle).
Hm, I don't know that exact quality of line-art can make that much of a difference with this Open Canvas... I know it makes a world of difference when I use Photoshop, if that means anything at all. I only ever really like cg-ed images when they're done, because working from line-art to finish product feels so much more like a matter of science... analyzing light and cool colours, measuring contrast and light sources. I guess because it feels like so much work is also why it takes so long and I try not to do it too often.
I wish I had nearly as much art in my works as you have in your words ^_^
