Post-Otakon Fü

Oh! Good god on a pixie stick... it's been almost a week. Apparently I've forgotten to post that I made it to Otakon and have since made it home safely. Very safely. "Day early just to be on the sure side" safely.

thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to people who bought things from me, both through the on-line sale and in the artist-alley. You kept me in plenty of manga and clean clothes, with good food even. The real reason why I haven't posted about it yet is because I've been shipping out everyone's art! By tomorrow I'll be just about finished with the shipping of things and my local post-office will be better off for not having my caffeine driven ass harassing their staff.

I'm incapable of providing a decent recap so I'll copy+paste from DeviantArt and pretend like I make sense.

In any case, Otakon was excellent. I was gutted to leave the con a day early, but all the goodness crammed into so limited a time has me jonesin' for Yaoi-Con. Now if I would just buy the damn plane ticket, I'd be set :XD:

*P.S. I have indeed gotten off mine ass and purchased a 2-day table in the Hallway/Fan-Market at Yaoi-Con. I don't expect much to come of it on account of me sucking but 'YAY!' For productive me's!!

**P.P.S. I know btchi_kitten and themadfish have pictures of me with wings. Give me wings!! Seriously or I'm going to be in store for all kinds of hurt from my mom ^^;;

XD Actually, he had the black ones, I was wearing the blue sequined leopard print ones. Those, Outer Senshi t-shirt and chibi Sailor Pluto plushie hanging on badge. XD It's okay, I'm forgettable anyway :P

So, I've finally started watching Naruto, and want to slash. But can't. Because Jeffery was such a perfect Naruto (he is like, fucking hyper exactly like Naruto wtf how is that even possible?). So. If I slash Naruto, it's like slashing Jeff.

Which is just scary and wrong. -_-

yeah, totally know the feeling. Doesn't help that the damn boy knows what slash is and that the later episodes are just riddle with fodder and that occasionally Jeff's commentary is 'now that's just gay!' said simply to rile me. He's good at that. A bit too good. >.>

He is Naruto. Except the whole demon fox thing. And the ninja thing. And the blond hair. But other than that, Naruto. Though slightly less clueless ... maybe. How old is he, anyway?

Also, where can I get my hands on Naruto manga? Is there anywhere to download the early stuff? Or maybe someone nice could like, Gmail it to me? *_*

Jeff monster is 11, going on to 100, he's crazy clever and always scheming. I trained him well, if I do say so myself XD

Alas, my slow ass dial-up will not allow for that.
Links however: downloaded the first 15+ volume from Naruto Chuushin for the sake of better quality, but more recently I download form Naruto Fan for a semblance of continuity.

My dial-up is slow, government monitored, and blocks all programs that aren't the web. I can't use IM. It won't even let me check mail with my mail program! Have to do it with webmail. Grargh.

But, will be home tonight, to nice, fast, completely open 10Mbit cable connection. Will download then. Whee.
