...has been ill & misdiagnosed for a little over a year. After a particularly graphic incident (at the very beginning of a very long) labor-day weekend, I rushed her to the animal-hospital. After a week of tests they performed a painful surgery to remove stones from her belly. She's finally home, de-sutured and in tip-top ninja-kat form.

Also, randomly I'm suddenly moving house! Having kept residence in the same apartment (on-and-off) since childhood, its both exciting and hella-random. :D

So, due to impending cat-bills-of-doom + scary transition to a new home/work environment, I've thinking of having my annual year-end Art Sale! early! This works for so many reason because;

1. keeps me from going stir-crazy
2. happy kitty with new expensive diet
3. if your going to New York Animefest, I can deliver art stuffs in person
4. makes holiday shopping maddeningly more efficient, what with advance notice and time to package & ship things, etc.

*The other thing this would help with is themes. 2009 nearing it's implosive end, I'm searching for ideas for what to put on a 2010 calender.

I'm can only take requests till Friday. That's when the phone & cable guys are supposed to transfer things to the new place. So, accessibility is wonky after then.

Hey babe :)

My Autumn is crazy booked-up, since I'm moving house and starting a new job. (Well New, Old Job but that's superfluous.) I'd like to make time if I can but it'd be pretty tight. You could either come up to the new place in Riverdale or tag along with my cousin Sean when we tour a Historical Cemetery (amazing photo-op + picnic). When it gets closer to the actual weeks I'll know better which day/night I can actually free up.

PLUS I never get tired of Becca stories ;)

I was hoping to get together for the 1 year anni, but I'd love to see you either way. Dunno how I'd get to Riverdale but I'll be sure to look into it =)

Green Wood is crazy gorgeous and more historical landmark than a creepy old cemetery. It's got Lakes, Sakura Trees and walking path. I've been there twice and it is anything but depressing. I think having a picnic in an epic location is a very Becca thing to do.

Riverdale is a really pretty and quiet neighborhood in the North-Bronx, it's also much further West than I used to live. It's toward the end of 1 Train line so it isn't impossible to get to, but depending on where you're staying in Brooklyn, it'll probably be an hour and change on the train... where as Green Wood IS in Brooklyn.

I'll try my best to get off the 8th.... and depending on the weather, we can figure out what next. Its just, if I were to have a Bex's Day I'd like to make sure I'm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful things.

Valz, wooooooow that place is just absolutely beautiful!!! I think it's perfect for a Becca day. (2nd only to the mountains spot.) A picnic sounds beautiful...!

Check about getting the day off and let me know so I can also update Elfie (since she'll be arriving that day so we can spend it together.)

I also let Will know... I feel like he's been the most alone in all of this... (and I know for a fact that she was the kindest friend to him out of all the G folks.. in true Becca fashion)
